Hello Everyone,
Last Christmas I received
The Cinch Binding Tool and was overwhelmed by it and returned it. Well, lately I've been thinking about how great it would be to gift mini albums and create books. JoAnns had a sale last week and I decided I'd give it another try. With the help and encouragement of Amy at
Scrap This, Save That, I decided to give it another try. Amy was kind enough to send over a link to where she created her own blog book. You can see Amy's blog book post
here. Most bloggers show you their perfect and great projects, but because this blog is more of my creative diary and electronic memory book of my blogging and creative journey, I'm sharing my hit and misses. Here's my very first take on creating a blog book, well a book of any kind. :-)
I started with my papers for my book cover from my own stash, and the blog sheets that go inside
(provided by a link on Amy's blog from the original creator of the blog book).

Then I punched the holes, this was an adventure because there is definitely a trick to lining up the papers correctly to punch the holes. It took a couple of tries but it worked fine.

| the pages I used inside my book as note pages |
then I punched the covers - same trick applies.
Although this one didn't turn out perfect. It's a hit in a miss because there are a few things I would change about it, but all in all its a hit because I like it! Today's Just Wondering Wednesday question is, "Do you know of any great tutorials and projects using The Cinch Bind tool?" If so comment below and let me know.
Well, thanks for stopping by and checking out my
hit and miss binding project. I'm hoping a few weeks from now I can show you a totally revamped binding project that's a total
hit, with no
misses.
