Just Wondering Wednesday...

It's Wednesday! It's Wednesday!!
I received the letter from the school informing us that its time for Open House!! Can you believe it?! Two weeks before school starts!  Wednesday may have taken forever to get here, but the start of the new school year is on rocket speed!

In honor of this time of year I want to revisit a similar Just Wondering Wednesday question, but offer a little information too. In today's Just Wondering Wednesday question I want to know, "How Do  You Save Money for Back to School Items?"  I generally buy all year long by keeping the basics stocked, paper, pencils, pens, notebooks, etc., tell me how you do it?

Amy over at Scrap This, $ave That has some really great ways to save money on crafting to allow more "moo-lah" for the things we HAVE to do.  You can click here  to get to Amy's blog   Check out this post where she traded dog sitting for a craft room make over!  Say what?!!

Well, that's going to do it for me today.  Hope you find Amy's blog a big help with your wish list and your wallet.  Be sure to leave a comment with your back to school money saving tip and come back to read what others have to say.  They may answer a question you've been just wondering about!

Create a great day!

I can't believe that your schools start again in just two weeks! My children don't go back until September! As for saving, we just have back to school in the budget. I usually start buying back-to-school clothes in the spring when the winter clearance sales are on!! I don't get shoes, pens, papers, etc. until August though.

Wow your children go back in two weeks mine only broke up for six weeks yesterday! (we are in England though so must be different holiday times). I just buy stationery as when throughout the year but this year my eldest starts senior school (your high school?) so I might treat him to a new set during the holidays.

I cannot even believe it's almost time for back to school. Time flies .... I try to keep things stocked throughout the year as I cannot stand to be out on tax-free whatever. I love the idea of trading services. I'm going to have to file that one away for future use.
Thanks for the post.
