Today's card is a simple card that was shared by one of my card group members (Hi Tricia!!) at our last card swap and I told her I was totally going to scraplift it and put it on my blog. I love the simplicity of this card and I love the fact I can make several of them and have them ready to go with only having to add a sentiment to the inside or outside. You can also add embellishments, I added some purple gem flowers to the inside.
For my card I just added a simple sentiment from a Close to My Heart stamp set I have.

Such a gorgeous, simple card! Great job!!!
As for a camera, I personally use my "big girl" DSLR Nikon D5100. However, prior to my new camera, I was using my Canon SX130 and it did a great job! I know they've upgraded it (to a 150 or something), but the 130 is great too!

Beautiful card! I love the simple look. Simple is good! Great Embossing.
I have Nikon Coolpix L110. I love mine but like all things they have faults. I don't like that the batteries run down so fast. I get well over 1,000 pic before the batter runs out. As far as taking a picture at night with the flash its not so hot. The light is so bright and you have to find the right angle because it will leave a big flash in your picture. I love taking pictures outside because the lighting is better. Over all I love it.
I hope I could be of help.
Your card looks amazing!!!
For today's question, I use a Canon D60 and I absolutely love it!!! It comes with a hefty price tag but so worth the money. Unfortunately, for my blog photos (LOL), I use my iPhone. So much easier. But as the days go on and I get better and better about taking pictures for my blog, I will use my D60. I must learn how to "set the stage" for my photos.
I am what you call a "blogger in progress"
Take care,

Great info Ladies, thanks so much. I'm writting it all down so I can do some resarch. AJ, I work full time outside the home so most of my pictures are taken at night and you're right about the flash. Outside or day light my current camera does an "ok" job.
Sharondalyn, you know I'm a blogger in the making...remember I've only been at this a few months. LOL!!
Thanks Jess, I'll be on the look out for that Canon
beautiful card!! Ohhh those cameras are so finikey sometimes!!

Wonderful questions!!! I'll be checking back to see what other suggestions you get. I, too, would LOVE to be able to take better blog photos!!!

Super cute card. Thank you for using my twine, Susie :)
PS: in the mean time, go to PicMonkey.com and brighten up your pictures a bit. (It's free and super easy to use.) That will help quite a bit. That is what I do because I don't have the best natural light and a flash won't work for twine pictures.

Very pretty, nice embossing. I use a kodak point and shoot. It was good price and takes good photos.
Gorgeous color. Love the twine too.
