I'd Like to Espresso My Thanks!

Hope you're having a fantastic day!  It's cloudy in the South and we're expecting rain.  A great day to stay in I know, but not for me today.  I'm heading out to lunch with a friend, a stop by the bookstore for coffee and a new good read then off to her place to knit while the rain comes down outside. Before I head out, I wanted to post the cards I created for my co-workers that helped cover my desk while I was out on vacation.
We're all big coffee drinkers and I thought this card would be a fun pun and a sweet gesture of thanks.
The espresso machine image is from the Love You A Latte Cricut cartridge.  The papers are from Stampin Up.  I love the color combination in this Designer Series set.
The wavy inside mat is also from the Love You A Latte Cricut cartridge.  The sentiment stamp is from SP & Company.  It's from their Latte Art stamp set.
I included coffee shop gift cards inside and of course they were a big hit!  I love sharing my creativity with my co-workers and I think they like it too.  Several of them put my cards and other creations up in their offices and its such a delight to see it there.  Creating for fun is really nice, but I think creating and sharing is the ultimate joy!

Soak, Relax and Enjoy!

Hello Crafty Peeps,
How's your day going?  Well, I hope its just about perfect! I'm going to share a quick tag I created for my workout buddy.  When you're not so young anymore, the recovery after a workout seems to take a little longer.  LOL!!!  I thought I would surprise her with this amazing product by Dr. Teal's Therapeutic Solutions Foaming Bath, Soothe & Sleep with Lavender  (this stuff is amazing, takes away the soreness and yes, you will sleep like a baby) and a cute tag.

Using my Silhouette Cameo, I cut the image and tag.  The image is from Miss Kate Cuttables and the tag is from the Silhouette Store
The sentiment on the tag is from Docerela Stamps, Spa Time.  I put this together fairly quickly, actually an hour or so before we met up to workout.  The papers are Stampin Up and The Paper Studio.  I added a touch of bling  for a bubbly effect.

Alrighty friends, I'm off to IKEA, time to make a few updates in my craft space.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a FABULOUS weekend!!

Hi there!

I cannot believe it's September already!!    Happy Labor Day Y'all!!  Hope you're enjoying a nice and relaxing day with friends and family.  I thought I'd share a card I made for a friend that lives out of state.
The stamp is from Julie Nutting Prima's Party Girl.  I used Copic markers to color the image.  The papers are Papertrey Ink and the chevron patterned paper is from m 3 Birds Basic Foundations Paper Pack,  I added a little ribbon and a button from Recollections chevron button pack.  The sentiment stamp is from My Craft Spot, Big Sentiments 2 stamp set.

I thought a little contrasting color for the balloon would be nice so I colored it orange and finished off the details with my Wink of Stella glitter pen

So glad you stopped by today!!!  Have a fabulous week!!

Happy Couple Card

Hi there friends!
I was in Jo~Ann the other day puttering around looking for a few things for Fall and came across one of their Creative Ideas project sheets.  I usually just glance at these, but this one really inspired me,so I took it home. I purchased the stamp used on the project since they were on sale that day.  Here's the project sheet...
You can find the project sheet details here.  Here's what I came up with from the project sheet. I didn't use the measurements or papers, but it sparked just enough inspiration to come up with this card.
I used papers from Stampin Up, a couple of Copic markers, ribbon, a little embossing and Ta-Da...A WEDDING CARD!!  I thought it was a quick and easy card to create.  The stamp itself is so adorable.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and be sure to check out some of those Jo~Ann project sheets, you never know what may spark a little creative inspiration.

Summer's End - Stock My Stash

How are you guy guys?  For me the end of August signals the end of Summer, so it's time to stop sitting on the patio with cool beverages and get back inside.  Fall is upon us and it is by far my favorite Season of the year (Winter is my second favorite).   I have so many birthdays for family in the Fall months I'm going to have to "Stock My Stash with Birthday Cards".  Now, to get the Stock My Stash with Birthday Cards party started, today I'm sharing one of many more to come.

I used my Silhouette to cut this cute gift box, along with papers from Stampin Up and Echo Park Here and Now paper pad for the patterned paper.  For the mat I pulled out my Cuttlebug and used the birthday embossing folder for a little texture.
For the sentiment I used Stamping Up's Modern Label Punch and the Word Window Punch to stamp SP& Company's Happy Banners Happy Birthday sentiment.

Okay, now I have card one added to box!  One down and a few more to go!!  Have you checked your stash lately?  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Have a fantastic day!!

Belated Birthday Wishes

How are you?  I'm great, enjoying my Summer so far.  In just one week my daughter will be back to college.  I would say that it would be lonely around here, but she's worked most of the summer and put in quite a few  hours so I guess it will be a bit of the same as her work hours decrease and study time increase.
In some of my quiet time the other day I created a card for one of my co-workers who I just found out had a birthday last week.  She's a knitter and if there is one thing knitters like besides yarn is SHEEP!  Here's the card I created for her...
I pulled out my Cricut Create machine to cut out the sheep image from the Wild Card 2 cartridge and used papers from the Loolah paper pad by Creative Imaginations.  The base cardstock and the mat is Stampin Up and Papertrey Ink.
That pretty gingham ribbon, I got from JoAnn.  The stamp used there is from SP & Company.  Those buttons are from my stash.  I also used the pattern paper for the inside of the card along with a mat to write her a little note of birthday wishes.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting today!
