check out all the blogs. Some of the ladies are offering prizes!!  Most of you know I love creating little treats for my management team at work, so I came up with this cute little mason jar treats.
Very quick and easy gift idea for co-workers, church groups, teachers and anyone you want to spread a little Christmas Joy with.
Using a few punches and a stamp from Joy's Life All Around Sentiment Stamps you have great toppers for your treat jars.  I added gingham ribbon and a doily to the top to make it festive.  Here's a closer look at the treats inside
The candies inside are Sixlets.  They come in all colors so you could put them inside any holiday treat package.   You should have come here from Ardyth Percy-Robb blog.  Now check out  Darnell Knauss  blog.  You're sure to be amazed at her creations and don't forget this hop has great prizes too!!  Here's the line up again if you want to start from the beginning

Let's Celebrate...

Hey Y'all,
Today I'm sharing a little 4th of July card. This is one of those cards when you're sitting at your craft table and see one element, then another and the light bulb goes off and Voilá!!
I give you a random 4th of July themed card....  The image is from Chi Chi Memories.  It's from the Spring is Here Digital Set.  Isn't she cute?! I used my Copic markers to color her in. The papers I used are from 3 Birds Basic Foundations paper pad.  The flowers are Prima and the brad there is from Stampin Up.
I used my Wink of Stella pen on her socks oh how I wish you could see them sparkle, but its been cloudy with a 100% chance of rain every day this week so I apologize for it not showing up.  (Trust me, it's cute)

Okay Crafty Peeps, that will do it for me today.  I'm already enjoying my Summer without deadlines.  I'm reading not one book but two!!  Summertime is a great time to catch up on reading.
I've downloaded about 10 books on my Kindle in the past week. :-D  Oh how I miss reading.  It's time we get reacquainted.

Happy Crafting, Reading, and Summertime!!

Star Spangled Wobbling

Hi there!
It's time again for me to share with you my Action Wobble Design Team post for the Summer.  What's different about this post?  It's my final Design Team post for the Summer.  I'm taking a break from Design Team work to relax and enjoy the Summertime. We have a few family events planned this Summer so we will be out and about quite a bit.  Check out this Star Spangled 4th of July card I created...
Using my Silhouette Cameo, I cut this start image and added a few dash lines with my white pen.  The papers are from Stampin Up and DCWV All About Boys paper stack.
I added the stamp to the inside and the fun is on the outside!!  The star is sitting on an Action Wobble!!!
Look at it go!  You can get your wobble on too.  The Royal Castle Shoppe is open and ready for your order.  C'mon let's see what you can do with a wobble.  Thanks for stopping by today!!!

Feel Better

Hi Ya!!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Father's Day weekend.  We had a great weekend!  I planned and cooked a very special dinner for the Man of the House!  Both my daughters were home, we had a really nice time...
We even did some crafting.  I made a card for my co-worker and knitty friend who broke her ankle in THREE places a couple of weeks ago.  Who does that?!!  I mean, you have to be pretty talented to brake your ankle in THREE places, right?  She was participating in an obstacle course event (FUN!!) when she had the accident.  Poor thing. (Not really, she's a knitter so once the pain is over, it's sort of a heaven sent vacation). I made her this card...
For this card I let the patterned paper do all the heavy lifting.  Using my Cricut, I cut the tulip image from the Simply Charmed cartridge to compliment the already bold colored flowers.

After I took the pictures for this blog post, I thought it would be nice to add a little sparkle to the whites of the flowers so I added Stickles.  You can see them here...barley. :-(
I snapped this one real quick just to add to this blog post, see me there..that's me, the shadow!  Hi! : - D

Thanks for stopping by today!!!!

And From an Old Can...

Hi Ya!
Today I'm sharing a little handy project I made over the weekend.  I'm finding that I have a ton of tools, but because I have them tucked away here and there in containers I don't use them often. (Huge waist of money and creative opportunity, if you ask me).  As I finished preparing dinner the other night and was about to throw away an empty container I thought wait, I probably could use this...
And from an old can came...
What better way to store my brushes?!! I bought them with the intention of using them for a lot of different things then I got them home and put them in a drawer or container (never to be seen or heard from again)!
Now I see them, they see me and now we can start playing together.  LOL!!  I placed it on one of the cork wall strips using two Darice Magnets and VOILA!!
So, thinking outside the box...what would you do with an old can?  What item did you buy that's put away and forgotten about?

Til' next time, thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!!

Can - wash and dry completely
12x12 patterned paper (or size paper needed to cover your can)
Large faux flower
Burlap ribbon (or ribbon of your choice)
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Paper glue/adhesive
Magnets (size to support your can)

The FINE PRINT:  When I started this project I had no intention of blogging it, so there are no step by step instructions, but it's so easy that if you want to make it, I know you can!  :-D  It's so quick and easy!

Circus Birthday Card

Hi Ya!
I hope you're enjoying your weekend.  I am.  I ran errands yesterday and went to dinner with my DH and knitted into to the night.  Oh, I almost forgot...I made this card too!!  It's a circus themed birthday card.  She's having a circus theme birthday party and what's better than a circus clown teddy bear card.
Using the Cricut cartridge Teddy Bear Parade, I created this image. I tried to keep with the circus theme with the colors.
I added a little twine to the card as a little accent.  Now the inside is where the fun is...
Yes! It's here...right on the inside, an Action Wobble hides to surprise my niece with its wobbling!!!  Kids love Action Wobbles on their cards and gifts.  You have to get your Action Wobbles today to make your cards fun and interactive.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  What did you do this weekend?

Wedding Wishes

Happy Friday!!  So many great things happen in June, you know like graduations, weddings, summer camp, Father's Day,  I personally see it as a special time of the year...not in the holiday kind of way, but more of the make memories kind of way.  One of the guys at work is getting married soon and I made this non-traditional wedding card for him.
I thought this was kind'a manly and a little different.  I haven't met the bride yet, but I'm sure she'll like it too.  I used Spellbinder dies for my image base and a stamp from Stampin Up, its from the Easy Events stamp set.  I colored the image with Copic markers.
The pretty papers are Graphic 45! I just love it!  I matted my card using papers from Papertrey Ink and Stampin Up's Basic Black and used the My Favorite Things Blueprints 13 to get that stitched look around it the black mat.
Instead of using the little the heart that is actually on the stamp image, I decided to cover it with a heart die cut from felt.  I will be getting caught up on my blog visits this weekend and look forward to seeing what you all have been up to.
