A Copic Birthday

Hi there!!
Hope everyone is doing well today.  Tomorrow is Administrative Professional's Day and for me that's like a holiday!  Most of you know I work full time outside of the home and I am a proud Administrative Professional!!  I work with a great group of people and really love what I do.  I guess you can tell that by all the goodies I create for them. :-D

My card today is a birthday card for my stash.  This image if from Broken Box Designs.
This was such and easy image to color. I used a stamp from Docerela Creations I won on her blog a while back, it's called Favorite Quotes for the sentiment.
Here's a picture of the markers I used for my image.  I had fun coloring up the image and adding little hints of sparkle here and there.  I used Stickles for the cupcake and I also added a little glitter from my Wink of Stella pen for a few areas on the image, but of course my poor photography skills didn't capture it clearly.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my little birthday girl all colored up in Copic markers.  Thank you for stopping by today and have a fantastic rest of the week!!

It's your Bird-Day!

BRrrrr! It's cold in Georgia today.  We had freezing temps last night, and it's supposed to be back in the high 70s by the weekend.  There's a saying here in Georgia, "If you don't like the weather today, wait until tomorrow, it'll change." LOL!!

While you're here I want to share a birthday card I created with the oldie but goodie, Create A Critter Cricut cartridge.  It's a Birthday Birdie!
I used papers from Echo Park's Beautiful Life 6x6 paper pad along with Stampin Up cardstock.  I went outside of my comfort zone a little on this one and added a few extra embellishments.
I even decorated the inside with a couple of brads and left over scraps from what was used on the front.
I figured why stop there?  I had a gift to go along with the card so I used the card (slipped in a plastic envelope) to attach to the front of the bag and a tag using an oval shaped die and my Martha Stewart butterfly punch to decorate it.

This card and gift bag was easy to create and the recipient really loved it. :-D  I love when that happens!!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope y'all have a great weekend!!

Easter Treat Bags

Hi Everyone!
Here today to share a few awesome little Easter Treat bags!  We're going to have a few guests this Easter Sunday and there will be a couple of little ones in the bunch, so I wanted to have a few treat bags ready for kiddos.
Using scrap papers from a 12x12 Bo Bunny Back to Basics sheet and papers by Stampin Up, I was able to create these pretty quickly.
I just love having Action Wobbles to add to projects like these.  The kids will love them and they are a great way to captivate our young guests while they're visiting.  If you're going to whip up a few Easter cards and projects why not add Action Wobbles.

Action Wobbles are always available at the Royal Castle Shoppe!!  Get yours today!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Have a fabulous rest of your weekend!!!

What's on my Knitting Needles?

Remember earlier this year, I said I was going to start sharing more of myself?  You may have wondered why I haven't been posting papercraft projects as often, that's because its takes two hands and quite some time to KNIT!  I've been knitting in most of my free time.  Sometimes after work the last thing I want to do is put my hands on a computer and that's where knitting comes in.
What's on my knitting needles now...
An Afghan!!!  Here's a quick picture of the start of the project.  I casted on 107 stitches to get started. Talk about counting sheep!! Well, in this case counting Alpacas!

Once I got going you can start to see the pattern form.  This is a basket weave pattern and it should turn out really nice.  Sorry the colors are a bit off but it's the same project, just my camera behaving badly.
Here's another picture of more of  it done...remember, afghans are huge...this one will measure approximate 50" x 60" when finished.
I'll be sure to keep you all posted on my progress.
Thanks for taking time to stopping by today!!

Time to Celebrate...Cheers!!

Hello there Crafty Peeps!
Hope you all had a great weekend!  I had a really nice weekend. I did a little craft hauling and couldn't wait to start playing with some of my new goodies. I'm on a birthday card kick.  I don't have any birthday cards in my stash.  I have a couple of  birthdays coming up in the next few weeks and thought I'd get crackin' on some cards.  Here's one I created for one of my managers.
I love this image from My Favorite Things stamp set called Cheers.  I colored the image with my Copic markers and added a little Wink of Stella to to glass for a little sparkle. It doesn't really show on this image but believe me, it's super cute!!  The papers are from Stampin Up and Papertrey Ink.
I'm really enjoying playing around with my stamps and markers and you just might be seeing more. Later this week I'm going to share a peek at what's on my knitting needles.  Hope you all have a great day!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Cut It Up Challenge #42 ~ Easter

Hi there!
Yes its me, back on my blog today to tell you about the newest challenge over at Cut It Up Challenge Blog! Our challenge #42 is Easter!!! Here's the card I created for the challenge.
I used paper from  Bo Bunny 6x6 paper pad called Primrose.  I was in the mood to color the other night and this cute little stamp I got at JoAnn last year was easy enough to cover.  I used the Stitched Circle Die by My Favorite Things for my colored image and added a few flowers to accent the circle.
I did a flag banner for the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Banner Sentiments stamp set.  The brad embellishment is from the Primrose coordinating Broches set.  Like always we have fabulous sponsors and for this challenge we have
Offering a Coupon Code of  $20.00

and we also have
Offering a $10 Gift Certificate

Okay, now its your turn to get in on the fun!  The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at noon.  Just in time for you to get those Easter cards you create mailed. As always thank you for stopping by my blog.  I haven't been the best at getting around for the past little while, butI plan to get back on track visiting you guys and seeing what you've been up to!!
