Happy Easter Bunny Bear?

Hello!!!
How are you?  Very well I hope!  I have an Easter project to share today.  A co-worker is in charge of the Easter program at her church and wanted something to give the small children participating in the Easter program. I had the best time working on these and playing with the Peachy Keen faces.

I cut the boxes from the Best Images of 2006 Cricut cartridge and used the Teddy Bear Parade for the Teddy-bunnies.
The faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps, Cute and Cuddly Face Assortment.  The papers I used are a bit from scraps and the patterned paper is from Stampin Up Designer Series (can't remember which one).

The buttons are from my stash and so is the ribbon.  I just love how they turned out and so did my co-worker.  I think the kids will like them too!! Well, once they're filled with candy.

Happy Easter to all of you and thank you for "hopping" by today!!

Thank You Blooms

Hi there!
I hope you all are having a great start to your week.  Mine is starting out pretty good.  The weather is beautiful here! My daughter was the given the loveliest gift from a family friend and it was so generous and unexpected that I had to handmake a card to show our appreciation.  I only made the card, my daughter of course did the thanking and addressing.
I used papers from Pebbles Happy Day Collection - Blooms for my card. I haven't been feeling much like sitting at my craft table due to a problem with my leg so I just made a few cuts to put this one together.
The flowers are from my Prima flowers stash. I basically put them all together in a jar when I buy them so I have no idea which collection their from, sorry :=(  I just thought they were a good match to the paper and added them with a brad.
I added a few sequin to the card to tie in the stamped portion of the card and hand drew a few lines around the edges to complete the look.  The sequins are a combination of Lawn Fawn and My Craft Spot. This card was super fast and easy and I love the way it turned out.  I think the recipient will like it too.

Thank you all for stopping by to pay me a visit.  Have a fabulous rest of your week!!!

Today's Your Lucky Day

Hello there!!

How are you?  I'm great!  I want to share a card I created on a whim.  I was knitting and this card popped in my head.  I love when that happens!!! I told you all a week or so ago that I went to my local scrapbooking store and picked up a few things and a great St. Patty's Day themed 6 x 6 paper pad was one of the things I purchased.  I've had this stamp for a while, I got it at JoAnn last year in the dollar bin.  Yup, the dollar bin!!!
Its by Gina K. It didn't have a title just some numbers and if you're "really" interested in knowing those numbers to seek it out let me know I'll happily email it to to you.  The size of my card is
4 1/4 x 4 1/4 and I love the way it turned out.  I used a glitter for the icing.  I thought that was pretty cool the way it turned out.  I used my Copics of course to color the image and the papers, let's talk about the papers...
The papers are by Authentique!  Hello cuteness.  The entire pad is full of St. Patrick's Day images and motifs...ca-ute!!!  I colored the image using Copic Markers and the sentiment stamp is from SP & Company's Lucky Day stamp set.  I think I'm going to use this stamp again for my co-worker treats for St. Patty's Day.

Thank you for stopping by today!!  It's always so nice to read your comments and know you visited.  I hope you all have a fabulous week!

Have an Eggstra Special Day!

Hi there!!

How's it going?  It's rainy and foggy here with another day of the same coming up tomorrow.  I sure hope you have better weather in your neck of the woods.  I thought I would share an Easter inspired card with you from a new stamp set I received.
It's from the Eggstra Special Easter stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I used the matching dies to cut out the images and I just love this set!  I used my Copic markers to color in the Easter Egss and that cute little bunny.
The papers I used are from Echo Park's Sunny Days Ahead 6x6 paper pad, talk about cute pages!!  I am really feeling Spring.    My card base is Papertrey Ink white cardstock.  I used seam binding ribbon to make a bow on the side.  I touched around the egg images with a little Wink of Stella pen and dotted one of the eggs with my white gel pen.
I hope to be back soon to share more of this set.  Thank you for stopping by today to visit.  I hope to see you again soon.

Have a great day!!

What I'm Reading

Hi Friends!!
The other day, I found myself at home alone, the house was really quiet.  No sounds from the televison, no mulled sounds of music from my daughter's room, just the light tag-teamed humming of the HVAC unit and the fridge taking turns letting me know there was some life in the house.  It was then I remembered I had the latest book by Sarah Addison Allen, First Frost. I decided it was the perfect time to see what the Waverly's are up to now.
For 2015 I wanted to start reading again.  I used to read a lot before some of my crafting took over my free time.  I think 2015 would be a good time to rekindle my love for books and share some of the titles here with you.

I am about half way into this one and enjoying it so much.  Have you ever read a book where the characters stay with you long after you finish the book?  It's as if they were friends of yours or people you've met but haven't talked to in a while and you wonder how they are?  Sarah Addison Allen's books are like that for me.

Be sure to check out Sarah Addison Allison's books at your favorite booksellers.  I hope you all have a very fun weekend.  It's errands for me so I'm off.

By friends!!  See you back here soon!

A Cat Happy Birthday

Hi Friends!!
Hope you all are having a great day!  It felt so good getting back in my craft area this weekend. I picked up a few new goodies to play with, one was this stamp by Stampendous.  It made me smile right there in the store, so naturally it had to come home with me.    It's the Icing Fluffles cling stamp...Love it!!!
I used Copic markers to color the image and added Stickles to glitter up that icing.  How fun???!!!
Here's a peek at the markers I used to color the image.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Have a blessed week!!
I just love the face on that cat, here's another shot of him...he's so happy!!

Heart on Canvas

Helloooo!!!!!

How are y'all doing?  I'm doing great!  I have been away from my blog for what seems like an eternity and I have missed you all soooo much!!!  I had many false starts at getting a post done, but couldn't really get all the components together.  I, of course took the holidays off to enjoy time with my family and then at the first of the year I had to travel for work.  Its such a busy time in our industry, so its been a pretty hectic start to the year.  I think things are finally slowing down a bit at work and I may be able to get a blog post done on a little more consistent basis.  Fingers crossed!!

I'll get myself started off with a little Valentine's Day craft(shown to you a day late so my girls wouldn't see it).  A Valentine's Day canvas!!
I purchased the easel and denim canvas at Michaels and using my Cricut.  I cut out the heart from the Doodlecharms cartridge.  The heart is scrap fabric from another project.  I applied Heat n Bond to the fabric and ironed it right onto the canvas.
I included them in my girl's Valentine's Day treat baskets.  Oh. and here's a picture of the cute little Valentine's Day treats I created for my co-workers.
These flat/one sheet cards were created with the  Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, Fuzzies from Michaels and York Peppermint Patties.  I used my heart punch for the heart and the stamp is from MCT 100% Sweetness stamp set.  Quick and easy!

If you visit my blog regularly you know that I enjoy knitting too, so here's a picture of the hat I'm working on for my daughter.
Slip Stitch Hat - 60 Quick Knits
I hope to share more of this creative knitty side of myself with you soon!!

Thank you for stopping by today!!!
