Happy Couple Card

Hi there friends!
I was in Jo~Ann the other day puttering around looking for a few things for Fall and came across one of their Creative Ideas project sheets.  I usually just glance at these, but this one really inspired me,so I took it home. I purchased the stamp used on the project since they were on sale that day.  Here's the project sheet...
You can find the project sheet details here.  Here's what I came up with from the project sheet. I didn't use the measurements or papers, but it sparked just enough inspiration to come up with this card.
I used papers from Stampin Up, a couple of Copic markers, ribbon, a little embossing and Ta-Da...A WEDDING CARD!!  I thought it was a quick and easy card to create.  The stamp itself is so adorable.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and be sure to check out some of those Jo~Ann project sheets, you never know what may spark a little creative inspiration.

Summer's End - Stock My Stash

Hello!
How are you guy guys?  For me the end of August signals the end of Summer, so it's time to stop sitting on the patio with cool beverages and get back inside.  Fall is upon us and it is by far my favorite Season of the year (Winter is my second favorite).   I have so many birthdays for family in the Fall months I'm going to have to "Stock My Stash with Birthday Cards".  Now, to get the Stock My Stash with Birthday Cards party started, today I'm sharing one of many more to come.

I used my Silhouette to cut this cute gift box, along with papers from Stampin Up and Echo Park Here and Now paper pad for the patterned paper.  For the mat I pulled out my Cuttlebug and used the birthday embossing folder for a little texture.
For the sentiment I used Stamping Up's Modern Label Punch and the Word Window Punch to stamp SP& Company's Happy Banners Happy Birthday sentiment.

Okay, now I have card one added to box!  One down and a few more to go!!  Have you checked your stash lately?  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Have a fantastic day!!

Supplies Used:

Belated Birthday Wishes

Hello!
How are you?  I'm great, enjoying my Summer so far.  In just one week my daughter will be back to college.  I would say that it would be lonely around here, but she's worked most of the summer and put in quite a few  hours so I guess it will be a bit of the same as her work hours decrease and study time increase.
In some of my quiet time the other day I created a card for one of my co-workers who I just found out had a birthday last week.  She's a knitter and if there is one thing knitters like besides yarn is SHEEP!  Here's the card I created for her...
I pulled out my Cricut Create machine to cut out the sheep image from the Wild Card 2 cartridge and used papers from the Loolah paper pad by Creative Imaginations.  The base cardstock and the mat is Stampin Up and Papertrey Ink.
That pretty gingham ribbon, I got from JoAnn.  The stamp used there is from SP & Company.  Those buttons are from my stash.  I also used the pattern paper for the inside of the card along with a mat to write her a little note of birthday wishes.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting today!

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Hi ya!
Hope you're having a great HUMP DAY so far.  I was very productive today at work and managed to get a few things done at home too and let me tell you, for a week night that's a good day.  I love when that happens!  I even managed to create this birthday card for my co-worker Robin.
I used elements from the August 2014 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp.  I just love the way this stamp looks like one of those orange popsicles with the chocolate on the inside.  The pattern paper is also from the kit.
Using copic markers I colored the image and added a little Wink of Stella glitter pen to the bottom of the ice cream for a hint of sparkle.  With a little Trendy Twine's Limeade twine, I tied a nice little bow and added a couple of enamel dots for added interest.  Here's a quick peek at the inside of the card...
Hope you enjoyed checking out my card today.  Be sure to get in on my Christmas in July $10 JoAnn Gift Card Giveaway!!!  All you need to do is comment on the Christmas in July, Oh My blogpost and that's it!!  Again, the winner will be chosen by Random.org and announced on Friday, August 1st!!!
