Boss's Day Treats

Hi Bloggers!!!
I thought I would share the Boss's Day treat bags I made for my managers.  Most of you know I'm an Administrative Assistant and I support several people.  I'm not able to give each individual person an awesome gift to show how AWESOME they are, but I am able to give them a little something to let them know I enjoy working with them.
I took this picture with my iPhone just before leaving for work that day so probably not the best images, but you get the idea.  I used my Cricut to cut the tags from the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge using papers from Stampin Up.  Those deliciously delightful cookies are Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies Dark Chocolate I placed them in medium plastic bags added the tag,  ribbon and twine to make them special and TA-DA!!
They really loved them and it made me feel good to know that they enjoyed them.  The funny thing is around 3:30pm in the afternoon a few of the managers came to me and thanked me profusely for the nice afternoon treat!  I don't know about you but it warms my heart to do little things for people.  It doesn't take a lot to brighten someone's day.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Halloween Tag

Hi there!
I hope you all are having a great day!  I am.  The weather is beautiful, a great start to Fall with cooler temperatures and Fall's beautiful colors are on grand display here in Georgia.

I'm popping in today to share a Halloween tag I made.  I was playing around with ideas for a few candy bags I'm working on and this is what I decided on.  One down and a few more to go...

I used the cute Halloween stamps from Lawn Fawn's Critters in Costume stamp set for the little doggie in the pumpkin and also used the matching die to cut it out.
The sentiment stamp is from Inky Antics Halloween Monsters HoneyPOP set.  You all know when I have to mass produce things I like to keep in simple and affordable.  I hate blowing throw my stash for one project.

I think most of you know by now that I'm spending a lot more time knitting.  I guess you can say the bug bit and it bit HARD!  I hope to get around to do some blog visits this week and show some BLOG LOVE to you!  Thanks so much for stopping by I am always so happy that you took the time to come and see what I've been up to.

Have a fabulous day!!!

Saturday Knitting

Hi there,
I told you all that I was going to share what's on my knitting needles and since I'm about to head over to my big comfy chair, I thought I'd take a few pictures of my knitting so you can see what I'm working on.
This is called the Compatto Cowl I saw it on Pinterest and purchased the yarn from Noble Knits.  I love this cowl, seems like it will go nicely with a white t-shirt, jeans and boots this Fall. That was my thinking when I decided to knit it up.  It's a super easy knit and I call it my on-the-go knitting, no focus or thinking required.
Here's the shawl I'm working on.  It's called the Labor Day Shawl. It's not a hard one either, but a little attention has to be given to the lace work on the bottom.
I really liked the mix of colors and it's knitting up nicely.  I purchased this yarn at my local yarn store.  I hope to finish it by next weekend, get it blocked and who knows, I just might model it for you.
These are just two my works in progress.  I'm also knitting a blanket for my mom as a Christmas present but didn't pull it our for pictures today, maybe another time.  It's not a small project for table top snapshots. :-D

I will be back next week with a little paper crafting fun for you.  Thanks so much for taking a peek at my knitting.  I'm so glad you stopped by.

Have a fabulous weekend!!

Eeek!!

Hi there!
How are you?  I'm busy, busy, busy!  It's the good kind of busy, not the overwhelmed crazy kind. There's a difference you know.  Over the weekend I decided to put away my knitting needles long enough to make a few cards.  Here's a fun Halloween card I created.
I used papers by Stampin Up and the pattern paper is from a huge DCWV paper stack, hang on let me get the name of it...here it is, The Halloween and Fall Stack.  Some really nice sheets in this one.
I used my Cricut to cut the cat image from the Happy Hauntings cartridge.  I added googley eyes to make him look spooky!  Boo!
Later this week I'm going to share what's on my knitting needles.  It's been a while since I've done that.  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I'm so glad you did!

Another Birthday Card...

Hi there!
I hope you all had a great weekend.  I sure did.  We traveled over the weekend and traveling by car gave us a chance to see the beginnings of the beautiful Fall foliage here in the South.  Here's another birthday card I created.  And of course this card is for a knitter.
I used papers from the July Simon Says Stamp Card Kit along with papers from Stampin Up to create this card.  It was really easy to put together and I really like the color combination.
The sheep image stamp is by Stampabilities and the sentiment stamp is from the SP & Company.  I added a couple of enamel dots to the birthday sentiment for a little pop.
Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a fabulous week!!

You Fill My Day with Color

Hi there!
I hope you all are having a really great weekend.  Here in Georgia the weather is just about perfect!! I woke up this morning to a beautiful breeze and my lovely wind chimes making beautiful music to the bird's morning conversations.  Doesn't get any better than that.

I have a card to share today that I created using beautifully colored pattern paper from Graphic 45.
It's from the Mother Goose collection, this one is called Ring Around the Rosies.  I think the color combination is rich and beautiful.
The sentiment stamp is from the Simon Says Stamp March 2014 Card Kit.  The mat and card base papers are from Stampin Up.
Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fabulous day!!

I'd Like to Espresso My Thanks!

Hi!
Hope you're having a fantastic day!  It's cloudy in the South and we're expecting rain.  A great day to stay in I know, but not for me today.  I'm heading out to lunch with a friend, a stop by the bookstore for coffee and a new good read then off to her place to knit while the rain comes down outside. Before I head out, I wanted to post the cards I created for my co-workers that helped cover my desk while I was out on vacation.
We're all big coffee drinkers and I thought this card would be a fun pun and a sweet gesture of thanks.
The espresso machine image is from the Love You A Latte Cricut cartridge.  The papers are from Stampin Up.  I love the color combination in this Designer Series set.
The wavy inside mat is also from the Love You A Latte Cricut cartridge.  The sentiment stamp is from SP & Company.  It's from their Latte Art stamp set.
I included coffee shop gift cards inside and of course they were a big hit!  I love sharing my creativity with my co-workers and I think they like it too.  Several of them put my cards and other creations up in their offices and its such a delight to see it there.  Creating for fun is really nice, but I think creating and sharing is the ultimate joy!
